I'm not insulting his intelligence, I swear. I picked Slowking as his Pokemon because they always have a calm demeanor. Not to mention, if you watched Pokemon 2000, the Power of One then you know of the talking Slowking that hung out around the shrine and stuff. He was actually a cynically little dude.
